X-Ray Imaging Systems

X-ray imaging systems developed at XLab encompass hardware and software solutions for medical imaging, industrial inspection, and advanced imaging technologies.

01

Line Scanner X-Ray

A high-precision X-ray imaging solution designed for full-body imaging applications, providing high-resolution imaging down to 50 μm.

High Resolution Imaging

02

SYNCBOX

A fully automated X-ray system control platform consisting of a hardware controller integrated with dedicated software tools. SYNCBOX enables centralized control of different X-ray systems, reducing research and development time while providing a cost-effective approach for upgrading existing systems.

03

Industrial X-Ray NDT System

A fully automated nondestructive testing (NDT) system developed for continuous manufacturing environments. The system uses continuous low-dose X-ray pulses to acquire imaging data from products moving along a conveyor. It enables the detection of cracks, structural defects, and manufacturing errors in products such as welded pipes and electronic circuit boards.

Non-Destructive Testing

04

Dual Energy Direct Digital X-Ray System

A dual-energy digital X-ray imaging system designed to improve image quality and contrast while reducing radiation exposure. Synchronized image acquisition at multiple X-ray energy levels enables the generation of high-contrast, tissue-specific images. The project encompasses the development of the complete system, including imaging software, graphical user interface, hardware, embedded systems, mechanical components, and motorized controls. Low-dose imaging sequences are designed to support patient safety while reducing acquisition time.

Dual Energy Imaging

05

Low Dose Portable Dental X-Ray System

A portable intraoral dental imaging system combining low-dose X-ray imaging, 3D imaging capabilities, and advanced image processing tools. The project includes the development of hardware and software solutions designed to simplify image acquisition for dental professionals while providing high-quality diagnostic images.

Dental Imaging

06

Dual Energy DR X-Ray System

A hybrid imaging approach combining X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Previously acquired MR images of the patient are registered and overlaid onto live X-ray fluoroscopy images, providing additional anatomical information during interventional procedures. The system has potential applications particularly in cardiac and image-guided interventional procedures.
